Case Study

How We Reframed the Site Around Two Clear Pillars

A case study for redesigning the KomuraSoft LLC site from a Windows-only presentation into a two-pillar structure that also explains website development and SEO.

Background

The original KomuraSoft LLC site read consistently as a Windows contract-development site from the homepage through the company page, profile, case studies, and contact page. To add web-side inquiries naturally, the site needed to be repositioned as website development and SEO for technical B2B businesses rather than as a generic agency.

What changed

  1. The main phrase was unified around Website Development, SEO, and Windows Contract Development.
  2. The homepage was rebuilt around two entry points.
  3. Navigation was reorganized into Website Development, SEO, Windows Development, Case Studies, Blog, Company, and Contact.
  4. New parent pages were added for website development, SEO and inquiry-flow improvement, and Windows development.
  5. The contact page was expanded into a shared entry point.

What we wanted to change

  • Break the impression of being a Windows-only company
  • But without weakening the strength and case studies on the Windows side
  • Keep the web-side offer narrowly framed around technical and B2B businesses

This case study describes the site at the point of being redesigned around the two pillars of Web and Windows.
